TEDxPatras 2019 took quite a lot of “Why Uncertainty?” questions. Actually, the answer is quite simple; “Uncertainty cause… life”. Uncertainty is part of our lives in everything we do. But there’s good reason that it needs to be so. According to Rosa Doran, speaker of TEDxPatras 2019, Uncertainty may sometimes make life difficult but, at the same time, it is exactly what fills life with wonder. Where did we come from? Where are we going to? Is the Universe as it is for us to be here or we are here because the Universe is the way it is? Is the Solar System structure, distribution of planets, sizes and locations a common trend among planetary systems? Or is it a unique system? Is our Universe the only one? Is there more life in the Universe beyond Earth? If life exist elsewhere, should it be similar to what we know? Why humans know so little about our place in the cosmos? Is education preparing us to embrace uncertainty? Do we know the meaning of being human?
